Scaling Dunes
My Submission to the GMTK Game Jam of 2024!
The theme is Built to scale, so I decided to create a small game where power scaling is the main theme.
Story:
Our beloved player found a talisman in the middle of the desert. Lured by it's shine, the player quickly grabs it. Soon he realizes that the talisman allows him to become stronger the more enemies he defeats, absorbing their energy into his own.
However it all comes at a price as he must now fend against hordes of foes coming from the sands...
Controls:
WASD - To Move
Mouse - To Aim
Left Mouse Button - Primary Attack
Right Mouse Button - Secondary Attack (Needs to be unlocked)
Shift Button - Dodge Attack (Needs to be unlocked)
R Button - Restart Game
